THE HISTORY OF THE BOOKING NINJA

It started with a simple question, "can you start answering phones for a tour company?" After running the reservations office for a prominent tour operator in Hawaii, our founder, Brent Ramirez, was asked to replicate what he was doing for another business. This was the lightbulb moment and the birth of the Booking Ninja.

A quick Google search showed there were no customer support companies that focused solely on the tours and activities industry. And knowing how personable travel companies operate, the last thing the industry needed was a generic call center notorious for long hold times and service agents that sound like robots. Typical call center agents are so clueless they need to read from scripts!  

Brent got it. He'd built a team and answered a countless number of calls himself. It was clear - every travel company needs a high-energy team that specializes in tourism and knows the business. Not a company where in between booking activities, those agents are scheduling doctor’s appointments and canceling magazine subscriptions. 

Now, more than five years later, we've fielded hundreds of thousands of calls for travel companies all across North America. In the summer of 2020, The Booking Ninja made a strategic decision to move the customer support operations under the amazing company HigherRing. This partnership allowed us to keep offering customer support solutions to an industry that was ravaged by the Covid-19 pandemic. 

Working under the phenomenal leadership team at HigherRing, our customer support solutions are finely tuned to help any sized company. And we're excited to be apart of the next big growth phase for the tours, activities, and attractions industry.
